  13.       READIT is a general-purpose program for reading, browsing or
  14.       searching ascii text files, program documentation, program
  15.       manuals, letters, etc. on your computer's screen.
  16.  
  17.       READIT will allow you to read, browse or search for text in
  18.       any length text file. You are not limited to just your memory
  19.       (RAM) size. I have used it to browse and search through over
  20.       3 million (3,276,225) bytes (46,432 lines) of text in one file.

  22.       You no longer have to load your word processor just to take a
  23.       look at the letter you have stored on disk in ascii format.
  24.       Just run READIT.

  30.        Not-for-profit user's groups and distributors of "Public Domain"
  31.        and "Shareware" type software are authorized to charge a small
  32.        distribution fee to cover costs of materials, handling, postage,
  33.        and general overhead.

  37.        All distributors, wholesellers & retailers of computer equipment
  38.        are ENCOURAGED to include, free of any charge, a complete
  39.        un-licensed copy of READIT ( including the software, documentation

  42.        All distributors of this software ( regardless of how distributed )
  43.        must retain the original file name prefix of "READIT?? where ?? is
  44.        the version number of the main software program.

  46.        I prefer that the software be distributed as a self-desolving archive
  47.        containing the complete software, documentation and supporting files
  48.        but other archiving methods such as "LZH", "ZIP", "ARC", "ZOO" are
  49.        acceptable for distribution.
